The Arbor Day Foundation is launching domestic and international planting projects to fulfill its commitment to plant more than 21.5 million trees funded by #TeamTrees, a viral crowdfunding campaign driven by YouTubers MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) and Mark Rober in late 2019. As early as January 2020, trees will be planted in high-need public and private forests recovering from fire, storms, deforestation, and other threats.

The Arbor Day Foundation has announced that as of December 19 2019, at 3:28 p.m. CT, #TeamTrees -- a viral social media campaign driven by YouTube creators Jimmy Donaldson (aka MrBeast) and Mark Rober -- reached its goal of raising $20 million to plant 20 million trees around the globe, beating the initial goal of January 1, 2020. Launched on October 25, the campaign is the largest crowdfunding effort in YouTube's history and one of the fastest-growing environmental fundraising initiatives to-date.

The Arbor Day Foundation and International Paper will continue their partnership to plant trees in forests and communities across the country.

The Arbor Day Foundation announced today the launch of its new Tree Campus Healthcare program. This one-of-a-kind program aims to transform community health and wellness and ultimately save lives through the health benefits provided by trees, as well as recognize health institutions that make a mission-aligned impact to improve community wellness through tree planting, education, and community engagement.
