LINCOLN, Neb., March 20, 2018 – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, and the Arbor Day Foundation today announced the 10 cities that will each receive grants of up to $20,000 from TD Green Streets for innovative urban greening and tree-planting projects in low- to moderate-income areas.

The Arbor Day Foundation and Publix are pleased to announce an expanded collaboration to help restore Florida's water ways with additional tree plantings in the Little Orange Creek Preserve and the Withlacoochee River Watershed, building on the inaugural watershed partnership which had focused on the cleaning and restoration of the Ocklawaha River Watershed in Alachua, Marion and Lake Counties in Florida.

The Arbor Day Foundation has announced today that the City of San Francisco and the Friends of the Urban Forest have been awarded the Foundation's Champion of Trees Award which recognizes a government entity, community-based organization or partnership among such groups that has demonstrated exemplary leadership to develop and implement new policies and practices for municipal tree planting and care, natural area stewardship or arboriculture.

The Arbor Day Foundation has announced today that Plant-for-the Planet has been awarded the Foundation's Spirit of Arbor Day Award which recognizes an organization or community that fulfills the Foundation's mission of inspiring people to plant, nurture and celebrate trees through programs and activities that have been implemented within the past five years. The award will be presented at Plant-for-the Planet's global youth summit in Monaco on Friday, March 9, 2018.
