Colorado Community Tree Recovery Campaign Distributes Free New Trees This April and May

The Colorado Community Tree Recovery Campaign – a partnership between the Arbor Day Foundation, the Colorado State Forest Service, Black Forest Together and the Big Thompson Canyon Association – marks the second year of a multi-year campaign to provide 10,000 trees this year to Colorado residents free of charge to replace trees damaged and destroyed by the 2013 Black Forest Fire and Big Thompson Canyon flooding.

Nebraska Forest Service Issues $350,000 Challenge Grant to Support Renewal of Lied Lodge & Conference Center's Fuelwood Plant

The Nebraska Forest Service has issued a $350,000 challenge grant through the TREES Heat Nebraska program to support the fuelwood plant as part of the Lied Lodge & Conference Center's nearly nine million dollar Renewal Project.
